The Hanxing FUQ4427 is an RF modulator in the FUQ4 line, built in our Guangzhou headend factory. Published specifications: Input: Transport Protocol TS over UDP/RTP, unicast and multicast; Input Channel 512; Interface 1 F typed output port for 16 carriers. 14 parameters are published on this page from the model's own datasheet; quotations are factory-direct.

Our FUQ-4427 is a 16-channel IP QAM modulator with multiplexing, scrambling and modulation built in. It takes up to 512 IP inputs from three GE ports and outputs 16 non-adjacent RF carriers compliant with DVB-C and ITU-T J.83 A/B. Configuration and monitoring run through web-based network management. CATV broadcasting and digital headends are the target deployments.

Where the FUQ4427 fits: the modulation stage — a transport stream onto a DVB-T, DVB-C, ISDB-T or QAM carrier.

Next stage in the chain

A modulator creates the channel; a transmitter decides how far that channel travels. Once the channel line-up is fixed, the transmitter stage sets output power, filtering and monitoring for the coverage area, which is why both stages are specified together rather than separately.
