Capture, Analyser and Support Devices for Headends
The devices that hold a headend together without being an encoder or a modulator: SDI capture cards, transport-stream players and analysers, ASI distributors and switchers, modular chassis and control units, plus the products that do not sit in a single genre. Most engineers need one or two of these to finish an installation.
Hanxing builds 21 other devices models. Supporting headend devices record, distribute, switch, analyse or control the rest of the chain. A capture card brings SDI into a server, a TS player feeds a stream into the network, an analyser proves what is wrong with a transport stream, and a switcher or distributor changes which feed reaches which leg.

What do these supporting devices do alongside an encoder or modulator line?
Supporting headend devices record, distribute, switch, analyse or control the rest of the chain. A capture card brings SDI into a server, a TS player feeds a stream into the network, an analyser proves what is wrong with a transport stream, and a switcher or distributor changes which feed reaches which leg.
How do I choose a capture, distribution or analysis device?
Start from the job the installation is missing: bring a camera or server feed in (capture), send one feed to several destinations (distributor or switcher), prove a stream is correct (analyser or player), or hold the line together operationally (chassis and control). Match the interface in the published rows of the model you shortlist.
Where are these support devices deployed?
The deployment fields below are the ones this range’s model pages publish, counted across the line: broadcasting and interactive services, news gathering, broadcast headends that need distribution or switching, and engineering positions where a transport stream has to be recorded, played back or analysed.

How does the other devices line differ from the neighbouring lines?
Each row below is the application copy already published for that product line on this site. Read the row that matches the signal you have in hand, then open the line it points to.
| Product line | What it is specified for |
|---|---|
| Other Devices (this page) | Supporting headend hardware — capture, processing, analysis and interfacing devices used alongside the encoder and modulator line. |
| Multiplexer / Scrambler | Building the MPTS/SPTS line-up and CAS/EPG handling — transport-stream muxing, scrambling and EIT processing. |
| IP Gateway | Interfacing between IP and ASI/RF legs of a headend — multicast to ASI conversion, IP backbones, and satellite or terrestrial feeds. |
| Software & Systems | Server-side headend services — EPG generation, IPTV middleware and subscriber/ads management platforms. |

All 21 models of this line, with the specifications each model page publishes from its own datasheet. Every model name links to its page, where the full table, the datasheet (Word) and the range comparison sit.
What does this range publish across all its models?
Interfaces, standards and functions published across this range
The values below are the rows published on this range's own model pages, deduplicated. The count next to each value is the number of models in the line that publish it, so you can see where the range is concentrated before you open a single model page.
| Published value | Models publishing it |
|---|---|
| A/V PID filtering (for FU-4459TS) | 1 |
| DVB-S2 | 1 |
| QPSK,8PSK,16APSK, 32APSK | 1 |

Other Devices — buyer questions
What do these supporting devices do alongside an encoder or modulator line?
Supporting headend hardware — capture, processing, analysis and interfacing devices used alongside the encoder and modulator line.
Which interfaces and standards does this group of devices cover?
The catalogue lists 21 Other Devices models, and 21 of them carry a Word datasheet on this site. Interfaces, standards and functions published across this range: A/V PID filtering (for FU-4459TS) (1); DVB-S2 (1); QPSK,8PSK,16APSK, 32APSK (1); SMPTE 424M Standard (1) — the figures in brackets are the number of model pages in this range that publish that value. If a parameter you need is not published on the model page, ask us and we send it with the datasheet instead of estimating it.
What power and chassis do these support devices use?
It is specified per model rather than per line. The datasheets published on this range's model pages state a power or consumption row for 5 of the 21 models (for example FUQ3515 — General: Power Supply: 110VAC±10%, 50/60Hz; 220VAC±10%, 50/60Hz); a chassis dimension row for 2 of them (for example FUQ4515 — Dimension: 482mm×328mm×44mm (W× L× H)); a weight row for 1 (for example FUQ46610K: 4 kg). Tell us the model you have shortlisted and we send the datasheet with the drawing, so power, rack space and connectors are confirmed before you order.
What is the lead time, and how do I get a price?
Quotations are factory-direct. Send the model number, or the channel count with the input and output formats you need, and we answer with the datasheet, the configuration and a written quotation. Lead time depends on the model and the position in our production schedule and is confirmed in the quotation, together with the air or sea freight options.
