The Hanxing FUQ4459E is an RF modulator in the FUQ4 line, built in our Guangzhou headend factory. Published specifications: Input: Transport Protocol TS over UDP/RTP, unicast and multicast; Input Channel 1536; Output Level -20dBm~+10dBm(87~117dBµV), 0.1dB stepping. 18 parameters are published on this page from the model's own datasheet; quotations are factory-direct.

The FUQ-4459E takes up to 1536 IP inputs on three GE ports and drives 48 QAM outputs through dual RF ports. Multiplexing, scrambling and modulation cover PID remapping and RS (204,188) encoding, all managed through web-based control. CATV headend systems and broadcast video distribution are the usual deployments.

Where the FUQ4459E fits: the modulation stage — a transport stream onto a DVB-T, DVB-C, ISDB-T or QAM carrier.

Next stage in the chain

A modulator creates the channel; a transmitter decides how far that channel travels. Once the channel line-up is fixed, the transmitter stage sets output power, filtering and monitoring for the coverage area, which is why both stages are specified together rather than separately.
