4 photosFUQ4655K Encoder Modulator 12 HDMI Inputs 256 IP
The Hanxing FUQ4655K is an encoder-modulator in the FUQ4 line, built in our Guangzhou headend factory. Published specifications: Encoding MPEG2 & MPEG4 AVC/H.264; Bit-rate 0.8~19Mbps for H.264 encoding 1~19Mbps; Audio: Encoding MPEG1 Layer II, MPEG2-AAC, MPEG4-AAC. 8 parameters are published on this page from the model's own datasheet; quotations are factory-direct.
Hanxing's FUQ4655K encoder modulator packs encoding, multiplexing, scrambling and modulating into one headend chassis. 12 HDMI inputs and up to 256 IP inputs are encoded to MPEG2 or H.264 and sent out as RF on DVB-C, DVB-T/ATSC or ISDB-T. PID remapping runs with the integrated mux and scrambler, IP I/O uses UDP/RTP/RTSP, and a web interface covers control and updates. Typical deployments: small CATV headend systems, broadcasting and IP streaming.

Next stage in the chain
An encoder modulator puts the signal on one RF carrier at one point of the network. When that single carrier has to reach a whole town rather than a building, the next stage is a DVB-T transmitter: it takes the same transport stream and raises it to the output power the coverage plan needs.
