The Hanxing FUQ4349S is an IRD / decoder / transcoder in the FUQ4 line, built in our Guangzhou headend factory. Published specifications: Encoding Format MPEG1 Layer 2; Bit-rate 32/48/56/64/80/96/112/128/16; Antenna Frequency 76-108 MHz. 5 parameters are published on this page from the model's own datasheet; quotations are factory-direct.
We build the FUQ-4349S as an 8-in-1 FM receiver with ASI and IP outputs. Captured FM audio is compressed into digital TS streams using MPEG1 Layer 2 encoding. Each antenna receives two audios, and the 8-channel chassis handles up to 8 audios, with an ASI input port for Audio/Video re-mux. Control is via front-panel LCD/keyboard or web-based NMS. Buyers use it for professional audio distribution in HFC or terrestrial systems, integrated with STBs or TVs.

Next stage in the chain
An IRD receives, descrambles and converts a feed; the output usually has to be combined with other sources before it is distributed. That combination, including PSI/SI handling and scrambling, is the multiplexing stage, and it is what the receiver output is normally handed to.
