The Hanxing FUQ4455A is a multiplexer / scrambler in the FUQ4 line, built in our Guangzhou headend factory. Published specifications: Input (2) 2ASI input, BNC interface; Input: Transport Protocol TS over UDP/RTP, unicast and multicast; Input Channel 128(or 32). 21 parameters are published on this page from the model's own datasheet; quotations are factory-direct.

The FUQ-4455A mux-modulator generates up to 48 DVB-C, 32 DVB-T and 28 ISDB-T non-adjacent carriers. Inputs cover 128 IP via 3 GE/SFP and 2 GE ports, 32 IP via 10 FE ports, 2 ASI and a USB Player for TS playback. UDP/RTP streams go through PID remapping, PCR adjusting and automatic PSI/SI generation before RF output across 50MHz–960MHz and mirrored IP (MPTS). The 1RU chassis reaches MER ≥40dB, carrier count is upgradeable by license, and control is via web-based network management.

Where the FUQ4455A fits: the multiplexing stage — building the MPTS/SPTS line-up, PSI/SI and scrambling.

Next stage in the chain

The multiplexer output is a transport stream that still has no carrier. The modulator stage allocates that stream to DVB-T, DVB-C, ISDB-T or QAM channels, so the mux line-up and the channel plan have to be agreed together before either unit is ordered.
