FUQ4359 Bidirectional Transcoder 8 IP + 6 Tuner-ASI
The Hanxing FUQ4359 is an IRD / decoder / transcoder in the FUQ4 line, built in our Guangzhou headend factory. Published specifications: Audio: Bit Rate 64Kbps-384Kbps; Trans-coding 4*MPEG2 HD → 4*MPEG2/H.264 HD; 4*MPEG2 HD →; Rate Control CBR/VBR. 8 parameters are published on this page from the model's own datasheet; quotations are factory-direct.
The FUQ-4359 bidirectional transcoder is our 6-tuner build for H.264/MPEG-2 and HD/SD conversion. Reception comes from 6 tuner inputs and ASI/IP inputs; outputs are MPTS/SPTS over IP or ASI. Any-to-any transcoding runs with CBR/VBR rate control, BISS descrambling, CC and web NMS, with LCD and keyboard control on the front. Satellite TV operators use it for broadcast content distribution.

Next stage in the chain
An IRD receives, descrambles and converts a feed; the output usually has to be combined with other sources before it is distributed. That combination, including PSI/SI handling and scrambling, is the multiplexing stage, and it is what the receiver output is normally handed to.
