The Hanxing FUQ4359B is an IRD / decoder / transcoder in the FUQ4 line, built in our Guangzhou headend factory. Published specifications: Resolution 1920x1080P,1920x1080i,1280x720P, 720x576i; Audio: Trans-coding MPEG-1 Layer 2, LC-AAC and AC3 any-to-any; Audio: Sampling rate 48kHz. 12 parameters are published on this page from the model's own datasheet; quotations are factory-direct.

Built for format conversion, the FUQ-4359B bidirectional transcoder converts video between H.264 and MPEG-2, including HD to SD. It takes 4 tuner inputs with CAM/CI slots plus IP input, and outputs MPTS and SPTS over IP or ASI. BISS descrambling, closed-caption handling and web-based NMS cover control, in broadcast systems that need flexible conversion. Our own R&D team developed it in-house.

Next stage in the chain

An IRD receives, descrambles and converts a feed; the output usually has to be combined with other sources before it is distributed. That combination, including PSI/SI handling and scrambling, is the multiplexing stage, and it is what the receiver output is normally handed to.
