The Hanxing FUQ4696 is an IRD / decoder / transcoder in the FUQ4 line, built in our Guangzhou headend factory. Published specifications: Satellite QPSK/8PSK /16APSK :0.5~45 Msps 8APSK. 2 parameters are published on this page from the model's own datasheet; quotations are factory-direct.

Our FUQ-4696 CI receiver combines demodulation and descrambling across 8 tuner inputs, wired for 2/4 RF tuners on DVB-S/S2/S2X, 1 ASI input and 16 IP inputs. Outputs cover 1 ASI output plus IP TS streams, made up of 1 MPTS and 16 SPTS. Encrypted content is cleared through CAM/CI slots or BISS before re-muxing into transport streams. The 1-U rack-mountable chassis is managed over the web. Deployed in broadcast headend applications such as content distribution and signal processing.

Next stage in the chain

An IRD receives, descrambles and converts a feed; the output usually has to be combined with other sources before it is distributed. That combination, including PSI/SI handling and scrambling, is the multiplexing stage, and it is what the receiver output is normally handed to.
